Amanda + James

Amanda and James tied the knot at The Garrison with the gorgeous views of the Hudson River as the backdrop. The love they have for each other is inspiring, as is the love they have for their family and friends.

There was so much style, joy, love, and excitement at this venue. And they happen to have had my very favorite local-to-me chocolates as the wedding favors — from Lagusta’s Luscious!

James and Amanda added the ritual of handfasting to their ceremony. And writing their love story was truly easy. James said he knew he wanted to marry Amanda way before he asked her. She is the girl of his dreams, his best friend. She completes him perfectly, he said, and he couldn’t picture a world without her by his side.

Amanda knew she wanted to marry James right away — they had such an incredible bond thanks to their shared interests and similar upbringing. She said they just clicked right away and she felt as if she knew him for her entire life. His support is unwavering, and the love she has for him and feels from him is unlike anything else. He is the person she wants to spend the rest of her life with.
